My story

I started sewing after a Mother’s Day gift of a sewing machine, at a time I was a mom to one and searching for something that felt like me again. Motherhood is beautiful, but it can also be all-consuming. I needed a creative outlet that lit my heart on fire and gave me space to create, reflect, and breathe.

Sewing quickly became that space. As my skills grew, so did my vision. When I discovered memory bears, everything clicked. At first, I only made them for friends and family. But the more I worked with tiny sleeves, soft fabrics, and familiar patterns, the more I realized how powerful these keepsakes were. Every mom deserves a huggable reminder of her children’s early days, something that doesn’t get tucked away in a box or forgotten in a closet.

I wanted to create a keepsake that could be held, hugged, displayed, and loved for years. Something made from the clothes that carry the most meaning, the outfit they came home in, the sleeper worn during late-night feeds, the tiny shirt that still smells faintly like them.

Postpartum is a sacred season to me. So much changes physically, mentally, and emotionally, and you are building a relationship with your baby day by day. Those early moments are some of the most treasured of my life. I can’t go back in time and hold my newborns again, or feel how small they once were but I can hold their memory bears. Each one tells a story. Every fabric choice brings me right back to those magical first weeks.

Since starting sewing, I’ve grown my family and welcomed another baby. Through all the changes, sewing has remained the thing I do just for me. This business is a return to joy, created in a season of life where my kids are growing more independent, and I’ve learned to set boundaries that protect what matters most.

Today, I create handmade memory bears using baby clothes or clothing from a loved one who has passed. Each piece is made slowly, intentionally, and with great care. This isn’t a factory or a production line, it’s one mom, in her creative space, honoring another family’s memories stitch by stitch.

Quality, communication, creativity, sustainability, and joy guide everything I do. My hope is that when you open your bear, you feel loved, seen, and connected to your memories and to the hands that made it.

Outside of this business, I’m a mom of two and a wife who loves her family endlessly, and a quiet soul who enjoys sewing, reading, knitting, and camping.
